01 WHO WE ARE

Content on this site, including the VGLI calculator, charts, and manual, is general information, not legal, tax, or financial advice. Calculator results use the VA's published VGLI premium rates and simple assumptions, such as keeping the same coverage and rates not changing. Actual costs can differ. Recommendations about your coverage are only made during a consultation with a licensed advisor.

03 QUOTES AND POLICIES

  • Quotes are estimates. Final eligibility and price are set by the insurance company after underwriting.
  • Coverage begins only when a policy is issued and in force under the insurer's terms. The policy contract governs your coverage, not this website.
  • Do not cancel existing coverage, including VGLI, until a new policy is approved and in force.
  • We're paid by the insurance company through commissions when you buy a policy. You never pay us a fee, and our commission does not change your premium.

04 TEXT MESSAGING TERMS

  • Program: Service Member Protection Advisors sends texts about your calculator or manual request, consultation scheduling and reminders, follow-ups about life insurance options, and policy service.
  • Consent: you opt in by submitting a form on our site that includes our consent language, or by texting us first. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
